We were guests of the San Diego chapter of the BMW Car Club of America for their July Autocross and we exhibited a simulation of the BMW Sauber F1 car. Check out the virtual track walk for the event.

Another exhibition with Race Legal and this time we had no generator trouble. Due to lighting conditions at the event we quickly switched from the track we had proposed in the virtual track walk to one set in a brighter environment. The chicane in the original setup was too dimly lit to be easily navigable in the amount of time available to participants.

SD Porsche Club Autocross, May 13th, 2006

The next morning we were back at Qualcomm bright and early to get some feedback from the dedicated racers of the San Diego Chapter of the Porsche Club of America. The PCASDR was holding its 6th Autocross event of the 2006 season. A lot of members took some time between their practice sessions to try our rally and Formula 1 cars and let us know how it compared to their vehicles.

For our first public exhibition we took 2 of our simulators down to Qualcomm Stadium on May 12th, to give attendees of Race Legal a taste of what state of the art virtual racing is like.
The response was phenomenal. We had people of all ages racing our rally course from before 6pm until just past 11pm when we finally had to shut down for the night. We know not everyone who wanted to was able to ride and we hope to be back at Race Legal soon for another exhibition soon.
